HiWing Mechanical & Electrical Technology Corporation (HIWING), subordinated to the HiWing Technology Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), is the first technical research institute in China authorized to engage in imports and exports. HIWING has participated in the construction of a number of renown key national projects including the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the East China Sea Bridge, and the Capital Airport.

HIWING produces a series of industrial-grade Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) products. It has also successfully cultivated leading-edge military-civilian fusion products which have been widely used in many important industry fields, including the three-dimensional imaging millimeter-wave security gates, omni-directional intelligent mobile platforms, bench-top industrial robots, turbocharged internal combustion engines, phase change temperature control materials, etc.
